The "Unconsciously Conscious" exhibition by DoGsWooD explores a variety of elements: conscious and subconscious expression, facades, memory, nostalgia, layers and texture. It also examines the built and natural environments. These ideas are captured in meticulous and unique sculptural/photographic pieces.
Creative writers in the local community and further afield, have been asked to create a piece of written work based around individual works from the exhibition. There will be a spoken word night on Sat 9th March at 6.30pm.
"Unconsciously Conscious" is on show at the Gloucester Gallery from 27th February until 24th March. The Gallery will be open Wednesday to Saturday 10am - 4pm and Sundays 10am to 1pm. Come in and meet the artist and experience this fascinating exhibition.
